Condition of Sales

We sell only to authorized Surgical, Hospital, Medical, Veterinary, Laboratory, EMT and Health Care dealers and reserve the right to sell to all Federal, State and Municipal agencies.

Sales Policy:
All prices are subject to change without notice.

Terms:
Standard terms are net thirty (30) days. All payment dates are based on BV Medical invoice data. Invoices will be considered paid on the postmarked date on the envelope transmitting the check to BV Medical. All sales are F.O.B. Lake Barrington, Illinois, unless otherwise stated in writing.

Minimum Orders:
There is no minimum order.

Packing:
Prices are shown based on standard domestic packaging. Additional charges apply to special and/or export packaging.

Shipping:
We reserve the right to use our own discretion in making shipments, unless specific shipping instructions are given on an order.

Drop Shipments:
We will ship directly to your customer without additional charge.

Claims:
Loss or damage in transit is a buyer's risk. All claims for breakage, damage or loss must be reported to the carrier within forty-eight (48) hours. BV Medical cannot be responsible for any loss damage, detention or delay caused by the elements, fire, strike insurrection, riot, shortage of goods or transportation, civil or military authority, or by any other cause which is unavoidable or beyond reasonable control.

Returns:
A Return Authorization number is required for all returns. All return shipments must be freight shipped prepaid and clearly marked with the Return Authorization number issued by BV Medical. All authorized returns are subject to a twenty-five percent (25%) restocking charge. Returned goods must be in an unused, resalable condition, and may not be older than (6) months. Freight collect returns will not be accepted. Damaged merchandise or items requiring re-packaging will be billed at full repair cost. In addition, BV Medical reserves the right to refuse such shipments. Parts are not returnable for credit.

BV Medical's Customer Service department reserves the right to make the final determination as to whether the specific warranty is applicable to the returned item. BV Medical retains the right to use its discretion as to whether the product under warranty will be repaired or replaced.

Limited Warranty:
All regular BV Medical products which prove to be defective in material or workmanship within the warranty period will be repaired or replaced when returned prepaid to: BV Medical, 28W206 Commercial Ave., Lake Barrington, IL 60010.

Blood Pressure Instruments:
Duration of warranty extended to aneroid manometers is commensurate to the warranty statement included with the product. This warranty pertains to original instrument accuracy on the manometer only and does not include the cost of any broken parts replaced nor any part of the inflation system (inflation bulb, valve, bladder, cuff) or carrying case, unless specifically included in the warranty. The warranty is extended to the original owner only. The liability of BV Medical, under this warranty will be limited to adjusting the manometer without charge when returned, freight prepaid to: Repair Department, BV Medical, 28W206 Commercial Ave., Lake Barrington, Illinois, 60010. Such instruments will be subject to a minimum charge of $11.95 for handling and return postage, in addition to parts charges, if any, and repair charges not covered by the warranty of the individual product.

Electronic-Type (Digital) Instruments:
The warranty criteria described above under Blood Pressure Instruments applies to all electronic-type instruments, as well, with no exceptions.

Respiratory Products:
BV Medical will either repair or at its option replace free of charge any parts necessary to correct defects in material or workmanship covered by the limited warranty of the product.

Diagnostic Instruments:
Diagnostic Instruments, including otoscopes and ophthalmoscopes are warranted against defects in material and workmanship under normal use and operation for the manufactures warranty period.

Battery Powered Products:
Where batteries are supplied with the original equipment, BV Medical does not provide any warranty as to the life that those batteries will provide. See the individual instruction manual for proper information as to the replacement of batteries.
